| X-Men 3 Related ( spoilers )
I just caught the thursday night showing of X3 at Century 20. The 3rd and final installment of the X-Men Trilogy was a bit of a let-down. Maybe it was the length of the movie-hour and 43 minutes was on the short side for so much they had in the movie. Or the inconsistency of the movie, I don't know.
Near the opening screen, the gang are in the Danger Room training. The task was to work as a team against a Sentinel. But during the entire movie, not a Sentinel in sight.
Rogue had been developed pretty nicely from the previous 2 movies and yet in this one, she is missing for like 99.999999% of the movie.
Another thing, I didn't really understand the whole point of having Angel in it, sure his father was the person that invented the drug, so what. All he does was fly, and fly some more.
Callisto having abilities that she isn't supposed to have. And in the 90's cartoon of X-Men, wasn't Callisto supposed to be ugly?
Also, the Iceman vs Pyro fight was stupid. 2 guys standing there blasting at each other like an episode of Dragonball Z. And the list goes on some more, but I don't feel like typing the rest.
There were some good things in the movie that I liked. Colossus, and Juggernaut was nice but a little flawed. Those 2 those have fought each other in a brawl. Storm getting to use her powers like a REAL goddess of the weather, and Logan using his healing factor a lot more.
...and Marrow is supposed to be a female. (screen where Logan goes to Magneto's forest base and fights the guy tossing sharp pieces of bone)
